It is always a good rule-of-thumb to stay up-to-date on current or upcoming regulations as they change each year. Failure to observe the hunting regulations in the state where you reside can result in heavy fees and punishment by law. However, it is good to know some of the common hunting regulations enforced in the state.
Effective July 1, 2014, the minimum age to hunt big game will change from 12 to 10 years. All youth younger than 12 must be accompanied in the field by an adult license holder close enough to be within normal conversation and hearing range without shouting or the aid of electronic devices.
Mountain Lion Regulations
Bag Limit: No person may take more than one mountain lion per legal tag in his or her possession.
Kittens, Female With Young: Neither spotted mountain lion young nor female mountain lions accompanied by spotted young may be taken.

Legal residents of Oklahoma who are 16 or 17 years old are eligible to purchase any of the youth hunting licenses.
Bag Limit: The combined season limit for deer gun seasons is no more than six deer per individual. This limit may include no more than two antlered deer as well.
Illegal devices: Fully automatic firearms, laser sights (unless 100% disabled or legally blind) and light enhancement devices (night scopes) are illegal.
